Listen up ladies… time for a pep talk.
Planning a wedding is more than just a dress, it is an entire experience. Unfortunately that experience can turn out to the super stressful, but no worries! I am here to remind you this is supposed to be fun and all about you!
Some people say the gown you choose depends on the venue. Although this isn’t bad advice, and most brides do wear a ballgown in a ballroom and a destination gown on the beach, but who says you can’t wear the ballgown you fell in love with on the beach? Prefer short dresses? Who said it has to be a gown? Show off those legs! Your dress can be as over the top or as simple as you want it because in the end… you’re the one wearing it!
You will get no where trying to please everyone involved in your wedding. Don’t try to make everyone happy, and focus on yourself the most. Take time to breath and actually enjoy the planning process itself because before you know it, its over. You will never get to plan such an amazing day again, so why not make it a happy time? You and Mr Perfect have this opportunity to make the day special in any way that you want so there are no regrets and you can look back with a smile.
The number one rule is you have to ❤ LOVE ❤ your gown. If you love it, you’re happy. You set the tone for the entire day, so when you come out ecstatic and ready for your day, the crowd will follow. 🙂
